What a beautiful amazing experience it was to stay here. The Ryokan is situated just around the corner from Goshobo hotel up a picturesque side alleyway. We arrived early before the 3pm check in but we were welcomed by the lovely staff at the hotel's main reception, they took our bags for us so we could come back when the room was ready. The apartment is simply stunning, you get a real Japanese experience here. Everything is beautifully set out for you.the beds are so comfortable and you get to try on his and hers kimonos! that was a lovely unexpected addition which added to the whole experience. The village is so peaceful. Everything closes around 6pm even the restaurants, so prepare to eat early or bring snacks for the evenings. Location is perfect, it's a small town so everything you need is within a short walking distance. We loved our stay here, I highly recommend it and would definitely come back again to relax. This will be one of our most memorable moments from our travels in Japan.

Once stepping inside the room, i understood why their reviews are so good. Pictures on OTA don't show its charm enough. Literally a small apartment sized room with elegant-modern yet japanese style interior, compy bed, dining table with chairs and detailed amenities. Room temp can be controllable which is rare for Ryokans. A gentlemen showed us around whole facilities, asked us if we have any questions, took good time for greeting guest. It's hard to find a spacious room in Japan with limited budget, but this is exceptional. Most of all, hotel is in the center of town which is of up & down hills. Many of them. Pretty conveinient getting in and out of hotel to the hot springs and back to the room to relax. This is way better than the nearby ryokan I paid 3× more except there is no meal options.

The service staff is very enthusiastic! They helped us arrange a car to the Kobe Rokko, reducing the time we had to spend climbing the hill ourselves. The accommodations are small, cozy, and moody. Every thing is in a reasonable place. Only a 1-minute walk from Kin no yu.It is also convenient to all kinds of restaurants and stores. Please note that Arima Onsen does not really have an abundance of meals, so you can make preparations in advance.

The Japanese style room was spacious and well equipped. The check-in was super easy, and the staff were informative and friendly. The location is in the heart of Arima Onsen. Dressed in your yukata, winter jacket, and clogs (graciously supplied by the hotel), you are a few steps away from the well-known Kin no Yu Onsen and foot bath. The futons were super comfortable, too, giving you a restful nights sleep.

Great stay at a ryokan. Fine interior and a lot of space for 2 people. All the facilities is good and I enjoyed the home feeling. It is located near the bus stop, beside the busy street with all the tourist. During the evening it gets very quiet. The airco gave the warmth in the room. Great to have this as your base to discover the area beside Arime onsen. Would like to come back again.
